We are glad to announce the upcoming exhibition Col Tempo, 1956 - 2024 by Guido Guidi at MAXXI Roma, opening on December 13th, 2024.
 
The show, curated by Simona Antonacci, Pippo Ciorra and Antonello Frongia, tackles Guidi’s research, one of the leading figures in Italian photography, from an unprecedented vantage point, his archive: home, artist’s studio, place of work, life and meeting place for young authors.

Visitors will be able to immerse in the Photographic theory of the artist and understand his influences dictated by art history masters and personal readings through a selection of his work notes, documents, cameras, artist proofs and paintings. The corpus of the exhibition will be more than 400 photographs, most of which unreleased, shot from 1956 to 2024.
