Viasaterna is pleased to participate to this year’s edition of Milano MuseoCity, an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Milan together with MuseoCity Association, that will take place in Milan from 2nd to 8th March, as part of ‘In Vetrina’ project.

Thanks to the involvement of art galleries, public and private museums, artists' archives, museum houses, foundations and business museums, the event transforms the city into a single, large “ephemeral museum” punctuated by site-specific projects. By opening up its collections, some of which are not always accessible to the public, MuseoCity aims to enhance the metropolitan area's institutions.

For the occasion, the Gallery will host some works by Pierluigi Fresia in its spaces, in collaboration with Fondazione Galleria Milano. Fresia's works interweave photography, cinema and literature. Each of his images becomes a moving frame, a page of a novel that comes to life before the viewer's eyes. His artistic approach, which makes time and memory his main subjects, invites deep reflection on what we see and how we perceive it.
