“BREATH. Architecture of Lightness” is the title of the exhibition and site-specific installation by Mandalaki Studio, curated by Rischa Paterlini, set up in the offices of Volvo Studio Milano on the occasion of Milano Art Week & Milano Design Week 2026.
BREATH translates purity, dynamism, and breath into an immersive and finely calibrated experience. Light passes through the air, making its density perceptible and creating distinct chromatic fields, establishing a direct dialogue with the viewer’s perception.
The exhibition path unfolds from the display spaces into the offices through images and projections that progressively deepen the collective’s exploration of the relationship between air, light, and space over time.
For the first time, photographs taken in high mountain environments— which inspired the landscape collection—will be exhibited and placed in dialogue with the Halo lamp collection, whose luminous intensity is designed to remain delicately visible even during daylight. Mandalaki’s skies are the result of a study of light, air, and metaphysical landscapes that transform reality into the surreal.

Opening event featuring a musical performance by Luca Longobardi.
The exhibition will be on view every Saturday from 10am to 7pm, until April 11 2026. The exhibition will be closed on Saturday April 4th.
