Spazio Necessario | Solo Show by Teresa Giannico | TECNO
Viasaterna is pleased to announce Spazio Necessario, the solo exhibition by Teresa Giannico for Tecno, curated by Rischa Paterlini, in collaboration with Viasaterna. Featuring works recently returned from the Quadriennale di Roma and presented in Milan for the first time, the exhibition will run from March 11 to March 25, 2026.
At the Caselli di Porta Garibaldi, built in 1834 and recently restored by Tecno, now a site for research and design, Spazio Necessario takes shape. Active in design since 1953, Tecno focuses on workplaces and meeting spaces, with constant attention to people and the concrete conditions of space.
The artist’s project presents a series of works centered on the relationship between environment and individual, a recurring and significant theme in her practice. The exhibition offers an opportunity to reflect on how physical and mental contexts influence and shape thought processes. Through imaginary landscapes, domestic interiors, and artists’ studios, the works question the role of space and time in urban life and their relationship to creative practice.
