“ZARA COLOMBO” di Luca Massaro
Viasaterna is pleased to announce the opening of the exhibition “Zara Colombo” by Luca Massaro on June 19 at UFO Milano.
Author, composer, and photographer Luca Massaro has conceived an exhibition that brings to life a visual journey created during the making of MADRE LINGUA (Sugar Music), the debut album by the artist duo Zara Colombo, released last April.
Massaro’s installations offer an intimate and previously unseen perspective on the creative process behind MADRE LINGUA. Moving between the private and the artistic spheres, the images reveal a side of Zara Colombo that extends beyond music, uncovering the roots from which the project emerged.
“We can’t wait to share the visual side of our musical project. While Madre Lingua may flow effortlessly when listened to, behind it lie years of work that will take shape in this exhibition: words from the album transformed into sculptures, monumental exclamation and question marks, painted canvases of various sizes, and neon works brought together in a new installation within the evocative brutalist exhibition space of UFO.”
