Martina Ferrari (Biella, 2002)

Martina Ferrari’s research develops through photography, installation, and site-specific interventions, with a particular focus on the relationship between body and space. After completing a BA in Painting and Visual Arts at NABA in Milan (2024), she developed a practice that explores the complexity of places, as well as human and non-human relationships with the landscape, through the interaction of materials and iconographic fragments. With a multidisciplinary approach that always stems from photographic research, the artist overlaps contrasting space-time dimensions to create new images, challenging our perception. Martina is the co-founder and artistic director of Mirage, a photo and video production studio focused on visual research in the outdoor field. She works as a freelance photographer and as an assistant to the artist Patrick Tuttofuoco. She has collaborated with organizations such as BiM Milano, Specific, and Lenz Press, contributing to exhibitions, cultural events, and editorial publications. She has participated in group exhibitions including Recombinant Ecologies (Parco Arte Vivente, Turin), Other Spaces (Loop Gallery, Berlin), and bim bum bam (BiM Milano). In February 2025, her project Trip the Light Fantastic, in collaboration with Viasaterna, was inaugurated at Volvo Studio Milano.
