Wang Qiang
Beijing, 1981. Lives and works between Germany and China. 
After having completed a diploma at the department of Printmaking at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Peking, in 1999 Qiang moved to the Kunstakademie, Düsseldorf, studying with German painter Konrad Klapheck. In 2004 he won a scholarship at Kultur Bahnhof Eller, Düsseldorf. His works have been exhibited in many group shows such as MEMO II (2014) and MEMO I (2013) at the White Space Gallery, Peking, and The Future is already here (2011) at the Today Art Museum, Peking. His solo shows include HOLZWEGE (White Space Beijing 2013), Venus Hotel (White Space Beijing 2011), Well Lighted Places (Yun Gallery, Peking, 2010) and Kultur Bahnhof (Düsseldorf 2004). Picture Perfect is his first exhibition in Italy.
