Tami Izko
Cochabamba, Bolivia 1984. Lives and works between London and Milan.

After getting her degrees in Film Studies and Journalism, in 2016 she began to experiment with different media, concentrating on sculpture while also focusing on her writing. As in her texts, the ceramic objects she makes are often linked to self-representation. It is in the context of this research that she began to collaborate with Federico Clavarino in 2018. The result of their work together is Eel Soup, which was exhibited in Brussels, (Pinguin, 2018), Poland, Łódź (Fotofestiwal, 2018) and the Istanbul Biennial (2019). Her project On Light and Small Lives, a story featuring text and images, was exhibited last summer at the Royal College of Art (London, 2019). She’s currently working on new multidisciplinary projects exploring topics such as identity, memory and belonging linked to urban landscapes.
